This promotional movie introduces places in Kama City where is related to Kanbe Kuroda, a general who was active from Sengoku era to Edo Period. It shows us many must-see places such as Masutomi Castle Remain where Tahe Bori who worked for Kanbe Kuroda was a master, Rinno-ji Temple where Tahe Bori sleeps and more.
There still remains the old townscape at that time on Nagasaki-Kaido Road that connects Fukuoka and Nagasaki. A trip to pursue the history of Fukuoka domain can be enjoyed there.

Many historical places in Kama City
There are many more historical places other than Masutomi Castle Remain and Rinno-ji Temple. Footprints of ancient era can be pursued at Okide Mounded Tombs. There is a 70 meters long keyhole-shaped tomb that is thought it was made around 4th century to 5th century and clay images can be seen.
Sake Shrine is one of the most popular place for tourists where is rare shrine enshrines salmons as a messenger of God. There is 700 year-old camphor tree.
At Ankoku-ji Temple where is popular sightseeing spot, there is a float style Rokujizobosatsu statue and 1000 year-old tree called Saburomaru-no-Oogusu which is city’s natural monument. There are 2 itahi (memorial tower) under the tree and are said they were made 350 years ago.
New local tastes of Kama City
In Kahan area where includes Kama City, Kahan Rice is getting popular recently. It’s an omurice (popular Japanese food chicken fried rice covered with omelette) which is made with locally produced rice and eggs. Many restaurants served their original Kahan Rice in the area.
Kama City is also famous for Kamameshi which is a traditional Jappanese rice dish cooked in an iron pot called a kama. Varieties of Kamameshi with seafood and/or vegetable can be eaten everywhere in the city. A Kamameshi seasoning which was supervised by movie reviewer Osugi is popular for souvenirs. It is made with locally produced special local beef called Kaho Beef, burdock, mushrooms, ginkgo and more.
