Shiroyama Historical Park
A park located on the former site of Kaminoseki castle, which was built by Murakami clan, a clan of pirates who were active in the whole Seto Inland Sea until the Sengoku period. Since the park is located on a slightly elevated ground, you can view the picturesque scenery of the Seto Inland Sea. Many people visit the park to view the Kawazu cherry blossoms that are in full bloom from the end of February until the end of March, together with the promenade decorated with narcissus flowers.
